Much of my current work is inspired by nature and the passage of time within the natural world. The passage of time is evident in this hollowed out portion of a tree trunk. But it is still a functioning part of the forest, providing a home for small animals, insects, hosting fungus, and gradually decomposing to create rich forest soil.
"There are more life forms in a handful of forest soil than there are people on the planet."
